We're off to the Comenius Festival
»Who was Amos Comenius?« That was the question we put to our children.
The first ideas came thick and fast: he was a fireman, a gardener, a doctor, a student, a policeman or a construction worker! The children drew him as they imagined him.
After some roundabout explanations, they eventually realised together that he was an educator who explained the world to children. Using a portrait as a guide, the children drew Comenius again.
That’s how we kicked off Comenius Week, and we’re now looking forward to celebrating the Comenius Festival on Friday at 3 pm!
