Every day, we have to find our bearings – often without realising it, sometimes in a very existential way. Finding our bearings shapes both the small decisions of everyday life and the major turning points in our lives. But how do we find our way amidst countless possibilities, expectations and doubts?
To mark the opening of the new annual exhibition, we invite you to explore the theme of finding your bearings in an interactive and personal way. The focus is particularly on teenagers and young adults: they are invited to explore questions about their own path, their decisions and their future prospects.
An interactive trail guides visitors through different phases of finding one’s bearings – from moments of disorientation, through the pressure of seemingly limitless possibilities, to the courage to strike out in new directions. The exhibition does not provide ready-made answers. Instead, it creates spaces for discussion, new perspectives and the encouragement to find one’s own path.
On display are different perspectives and pieces created by young people, including work by the TiQ youth club and the Corax youth editorial team. As part of the opening, those involved will offer insights into how the exhibition came about and their personal approaches to the topic.
Outside, a lounge area, electronic music and street food invite visitors to linger.
