About us

The team at Education – Young Museum sees itself as a gateway to the history of the Francke Foundations, their historical sites, their material evidence and their cultural heritage. We build bridges to the here and now and to our visitors.

From exhibition tours and hands-on activities for school classes to workshops and evening events for individual visitors, we design a variety of formats that are accessible, high-quality, target group-oriented and often feature a special twist.

With a great enthusiasm for experimentation, we draw on the rich pool of topics and materials available at the Francke Foundations. We invite young people in particular to discover this special diversity together with us.

We welcome preschool groups, primary school classes and special needs classes to the Krokoseum. The space invites visitors to enjoy a wide range of experiences with its workshop area, movement areas and play facilities.

We welcome secondary school classes, student groups and individual visitors to the LeoLab. The flexible and multifunctional space with an outdoor area facilitates exchange, research-based learning and practical activities in a stimulating atmosphere.
