WIR Festival 2026: We're planting!

About us

To kick off the 2026 WIR Festival, children and adults planted a large WIR sign made of spring flowers on the lawn in front of the Historic Orphanage.

To kick off the 2026 WIR Festival, children and adults planted a giant “WIR” sign made of spring flowers in front of the Historic Orphanage – a colorful symbol of community and civic engagement.
Encouraged by the enthusiastic response from the public and in light of the state elections in Saxony-Anhalt, the WIR Festival aims to expand: more individuals, networks, foundations, and institutions wish to join the initiative.
New initiatives are in the works, opportunities for participation are being created, and we look forward to being part of it again in 2026!
